Don't you just love when you're not sure if something is breakfast or dessert? I love when I can have dessert for breakfast without feeling guilty. The flavor is amazing and the protein powder means this is actually a breakfast or after workout food. I highly recommend it! I used skim milk in it because I don't like almond milk.

Check out this recipe:

  • 1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk, or sub milk of choice
  • 1 apple, peeled and cored
  • 1 (6 oz.) non-fat Chobani apple cinnamon yogurt, or sub another yogurt
  • 1/2 tsp truvia, or sub sweetener of choice
  • 2 tbsp sugar-free butterscotch pudding
  • 3 tbsp vanilla protein powder
  • 1 very ripe frozen banana (slice into coins and freeze before using)
  • 1/4-1/2 tsp. cinnamon (to taste preferences)
  • 1/2- 1 cup ice (depending on desired thickness)
  • Optional garnish: Lite Cool Whip, honey graham cracker crumbs



INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Combine all of the ingredients and blend until incorporated.
  2. If desired, top with cool whip and sprinkle on graham cracker crumbs
